Male Lock Insert – 4-Pack
$4.95
Four male lock inserts for SpaCoverStraps kits — the half that clicks into the female body on the cabinet. $4.95. Replace the piece that snapped, not the whole strap.
Description
The male insert is the part on the strap side that clicks into the female lock body on the spa cabinet. When it cracks, the strap still looks fine and the cover still looks clipped — until a gust proves it was not. This 4-pack replaces four male inserts. $4.95. Same fit as the inserts that ship in the complete kit.
Order this when the click is mushy, the plastic is split, or you can pull the strap out without using the key. It is not the female body (that screws to the cabinet) and it is not a key pack. If the cabinet-mounted half is the broken one, that is the female lock body 4-pack. If you lost keys, that is the key 8-pack. Do not buy all three hoping one of them is right.
Male spa strap lock insert FAQ
What is a male lock insert?
The half on the strap that clicks into the female body on the cabinet. This 4-pack replaces that click-in piece, not the cabinet-mounted body.
How do I know I need the male insert vs the female body?
If the part screwed to the spa cabinet is intact and the piece on the strap is cracked or will not click, you want this pack. If the cabinet half is broken, order the female lock body pack instead.
Will these fit an old SpaCoverStraps kit?
They match the lock sets in our current kits. If your kit is from this site, these are the replacement inserts.
Do keys come with the inserts?
No. Keys are a separate 8-pack. Inserts assume you still have working keys or will order those too.
Can I mix these with a different buckle type?
These are the lock inserts for the cover-to-cabinet connection, not the Nexus/Fireloc strap buckle. Buckle type does not change this SKU.
