Description
The female lock body is the piece that lives on the spa cabinet. You screw it down, the male insert clicks in, the key lets you pop it. When this half cracks, strips, or will not hold the insert, the strap is theater. This 4-pack is four cabinet-mount bodies. $4.95. Same as the bodies in a complete SpaCoverStraps kit.
Mount with stainless #4×1 screws (kits include them; extras are the 16-pack). Hit wood or a backing block, not hollow plastic. These bodies are not keys and not the male inserts on the strap. If the cabinet half still looks solid and the strap-side piece is what snapped, order the male insert pack. If you can click in but cannot find a key, order keys. One broken part, one SKU.

What is the female lock body?

Do I need new screws to install these?
If the original stainless screws are still good, reuse them. If they rusted or stripped the holes, add the #4×1 304 stainless 16-pack and shift the body slightly so you bite fresh material.
Will these work on a new cabinet after a spa move?
Yes. That is a common reason to buy this pack without a whole new strap kit — new cabinet, same straps, new mount points.
Are the keys included?
No. Keys are the 8-pack. These are bodies only.
Male insert vs female body — which did I break?
Female body is screwed to the cabinet and stays there. Male insert travels with the strap. Look at which half is cracked before you order.
