What sizes of spa cover strap kits do you offer?
We offer three lengths: 8 ft ($37.95), 10 ft ($39.95), and 12 ft ($42.95). These refer to the overall strap length. Choose based on your spa cover dimensions — when in doubt, size up to ensure full coverage.
How do I measure my spa to choose the right strap length?
Measure the width of your spa cover from one side to the other, then add approximately 12-18 inches for the buckle and fastener loops on each side. For example, a 7 ft wide cover typically fits our 8 ft kit comfortably. If your cover is unusually thick or curved, go up one size. When in doubt, email us at sales@spacoverstraps.com — we are happy to help you size it correctly.

What colors are available?
We carry 12 colors to match your spa cover, deck, or personal preference. Color options are displayed on each product page. All colors use the same UV-resistant strap material — color choice is purely aesthetic.
Are the buckles waterproof?
Yes. All of our buckles are rated for outdoor use and are designed to resist moisture, UV exposure, and temperature swings. The hardware is corrosion-resistant and will not seize up in wet or freezing conditions. Our Made in USA hardware is built to the higher quality standards you expect from American manufacturing.
Are these straps universal? Will they fit my brand of spa?
Our strap kits are designed to be universal and fit the vast majority of rectangular and square hot tub covers. They attach to your spa cabinet using the included mounting hardware. If you have an unusually shaped cover or a built-in cover lift system, email us and we can help you determine compatibility.
Shipping
How fast will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.
Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes! Free standard shipping applies to all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii. No surcharges, no exclusions.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes. Shipping to Canada is free on orders over $60, or a flat rate of $17.95 for orders under $60. Please note we cannot ship to PO Boxes in Canada — a physical street address is required.
Do you ship internationally (outside the US and Canada)?
At this time, we only ship to the United States and Canada.
Installation and Use
How do I install my spa cover strap kit?
Installation is straightforward and takes about 15-20 minutes with basic tools. Here is the general process:
- Lift your spa cover and locate the underside cabinet lip or skirt panel on each side of the spa.
- Attach the mounting brackets or D-ring clips to the spa cabinet using the included hardware (usually a short screw into the cabinet face).
- Feed the strap through the buckle and over the top of your spa cover.
- Connect the buckle ends on both sides and adjust tension until the cover is snug.
- Repeat for the second strap on the opposite side of the spa.

What if my strap breaks or a buckle fails?
We stand behind our hardware. If a buckle or strap fails under normal use within a reasonable period, contact us at sales@spacoverstraps.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will work with you to make it right.
Returns and Orders
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused, uninstalled strap kits. See our full Refund Policy for details.
How do I check my order status?
You will receive a confirmation email with your order number when you place your order, and a shipping confirmation with a tracking link when it ships. You can also email us at sales@spacoverstraps.com with your order number and we will look it up for you.
