Assistant Project Manager – Construction

Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a confidential construction management firm seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial, institutional, and public-sector construction projects throughout the Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and project teams to plan, schedule, oversee, and manage project activities to ensure goals and timelines are achieved.
• Assist with tracking and managing RFIs, submittals, cut sheets, and other project documentation.
• Support project inspections and help manage field operations to ensure compliance with design standards and owner expectations.
• Prepare daily reports, including weather logs, subcontractor manpower reports, safety documentation, equipment tracking, and other project records.
• Assist with site safety efforts and support OSHA compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate and maintain project site office requirements, including communications, internet access, office equipment, and related facilities.
• Record and distribute meeting minutes as required.
• Ensure required notices and postings are maintained and updated at project sites.
• Assist with punch list activities, project closeout, and other project management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related degree preferred; or
• Minimum of two years of construction industry experience.
• Construction site experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
